Family Fun

Not only will you find an array of experts to speak with regarding your home and garden needs, but The “Original” Western Mass Home & Garden Show is “the place for family fun!” Be sure to make your way over to the Young Building where there will be plenty of fun activities for the entire family.

This year, we will have a designated “Kids Area” where the kids can enjoy the antics of the Shriners’ clowns and attendees can purchase tickets to their upcoming circus. Thousand Cranes Studio will be on hand to show off the creative talent of their students in an array of art projects created by their students.  Come by and see their art creations, as well as participate in creative activities hosted by the studio.  Come check out the live butterfly display from Magic Wings Butterfly Conservatory & Gardens or the koi fish in the water pond by the Koi Society.  Kids of all ages can get their pictures taken on one of the carts from Pioneer Valley Indoor Karting.  Come by and do some science experiments at the Rolling Acres Outdoor & Science Summer Camp.  Check out the fun at the Thunderbird booth, get your face painted or visit with Looney Toon characters from Six Flags New England.

On Saturday and Sunday, the West Springfield Police Department will be on hand to fingerprint children and offer safety tips.  The Chesterfield Fire Department will be at the show giving out hats and color books.

No matter what your age, The “Original” Western Mass Home & Garden Show has fun for the entire family.
